It would be valuable to configure the capacity planning view so that work items that are blocking another one are allocated first on the timeline for a team or team member.
Agreed, we really need to be able to prioritise our teams so that our Development estimate is added to the capacity report and our test effort is then added as a dependency based on the Development estimate afterwards. i.e my feature has a start date of 01/11/24, my Dev Team have given a 2 day estimate and my test team have given a 3 day estimate, I want capacity planning to show Development from 01/11/24 - 02/11/24 and Test capacity to be from 03/11/24 - 05/11/24
