Bring consistency and better searchability to related record fields

What is the challenge?

There is a lot of importance to how you link your work to strategic records. For example, a feature may need to be connected to the right objective, key result, initiative, epic, and/or release to ensure the feature will show up in reporting as expected. Currently, the fields for selecting each type of record do not work consistently and make it hard to find the right records to link to.

What is the impact?

This makes it difficult for users to find the right record(s) to link their work to. Especially in accounts with tons of users and records, this can quickly become overwhelming.

Ensure consistency and searchability across all record drop-down fields.

• Always show records in my workspace/immediate workspace line first.

• Let me search by workspace name.

• Let me search by a record ID

• Additional ways to filter the list of records to link to.
