What is the challenge? |
1) When searching for and selecting relevant Ideas about a product/workspace, I have to wade through all Ideas. This takes a lot of time and effort without no guarantee of success. 2) The section 'Portal Comments' (located below Activity on the Ideas Portal back-office page), displays all ideas recently submitted across the whole business. As I am viewing the Ideas Portal from a specific workspace, seeing what is happening in terms of Ideas submissions across the whole business does not seem relevant and can be distracting. |
What is the impact? |
Viewing Ideas is part of my essential workflow as a researcher in a Product team. I need to be able to view relevant Ideas more quickly without having to consider lots of irrelevant content. I easily suffer from information overload, so this negatively impacts my focus, productivity and sense of self-efficacy. |
Describe your idea |
Search for Ideas that only match a single workspace or parent/child workspaces if the Ideas Portal is structured in such a way. Hide all Ideas that are not relevant to the specific Ideas Portal being searched. |
After trial and error, I found that viewing a list of selected ideas from a parent folder for an Ideas Portal that serves multiple child workspaces does not work. Still, when I try to select Ideas from a child workspace, I can see all Ideas submitted across the whole business.
