Searching for and creating a report of customer Ideas should be more granular and easier

What is the challenge?

Searching for ideas by specific themes, topics and keywords can be tricky in the Report back-end feature for customer-facing Ideas Portals.

I was searching for Ideas by topic on the Ideas Portal for a product for which we have received hundreds if not thousands of ideas for its respective modules. A few related issues that prevented me from viewing relevant records effectively:

1. One can only search Idea names for all workspaces within an organisational account. This means that, having searched Idea names by topic/keyword, this returns a very long scroll of Ideas across all workspaces.

2. Having selected relevant ideas that match keywords in the idea names, I could find a button that says 'view' or 'ok' or 'done'. So, I can check a selection of ideas in the very long list, but not view them like I remember doing in another Ideas Portal.

3. Tags have become impossible to use because dozens if not hundreds of internal users have created a very long list of tags. 👉 see Idea A-I-17521

What is the impact?

Impact: I can't view or export related Ideas for research purposes.

Idea description:

1) Make it easier to search for, find, view and export related Ideas from a potentially long list of Ideas.

2) When searching for Ideas from within a workspace, only enable to retrieve Ideas that match:

a) the Ideas Portal for the individual workspace

b) or the Ideas Portal that services the umbrella/parent workspace for which there are sub-workspaces organised by category.

By extension, make it optional to view/hide Ideas Portals from unrelated workspaces. For example, when searching about Ideas for products in the built environment, I really don't need to view Ideas for products in, say, social care or taxi licensing.
