What is the challenge? |
Need certain material to remain constant across pages |
What is the impact? |
Over time, pages can be modified and become non-uniform |
Describe your idea |
I would like the ability to restrict users/certain roles from editing, moving, or deleting certain material on a page/template in the knowledge base (in other words, limit some users to writing, editing, deleting, etc to just certain parts of the page). |
Hi:
The need is to keep standardized information the same across the same type of documents. For example, the release notes have text (selected below) that should always be the same. However, changes by different authors tend to creep in over time.

Thanks @Guest, could you share a few examples of when this need arises in your KB content? Is your main goal to prevent people from editing certain parts of an individual page, or being able to keep a block of shared content in sync across multiple different pages?
