Don't Send Email Reports if the Report is Empty Merged

What is the challenge?

We have a "Request Level" field in our internal Ideas Portal. When our team enters a "HOT" idea, the product management team wants to be notified right away (or quickly). These ideas cannot sit and wait to be discussed for 2 weeks (our review cadence).

Fortunately, HOT ideas are not super frequent. But when they come through, we need to know about them.

Therefore, I have created a report that isolates the HOT ideas and scheduled it to be emailed to my whole team on a daily basis. This means several people get an email once a day with a link to an empty report.

What is the impact?

My team is fairly small, but that means we're also very busy and spread rather thin. Managing an unnecessary email every day is a small thing, but it is still a thing that we have to do daily (plus weekends - there's no setting for Weekday Only either).

We don't need to be notified about nothing.

For scheduled email distribution of saved reports, please consider adding an option to NOT send an automated email when the source report is blank. (ONLY send an email when the report contains records.)
