What is the challenge? |
We have just launched the Ideas Portal for our Global Customer base and a consistent feedback has been that our customers want to be able to see the customer name as well as the organisation (and potentially any organisation custom fields). This is not available and is hindering adoption as the customers do not know how to place context to the suggestion in their environment |
What is the impact? |
Lower levels of adoption by end-user customers as well as confusion about relevance of comments based on multiple market segments being available within the portal. A constant question is "are these comments from my fellow customers or the company representative?" |

Implement Organisation attributes as 'READ ONLY' attributes/ fields that can be used in the portal layouts. Ideally, the Organisation Name and Segment is useful but also any custom fields on the Organisation record could add value to the interpretation and interaction with the Ideas portal |
