What is the challenge? |
We are using the admin message as a change log to provide customers a history of what is going on behind the scenes with an idea until it becomes a feature. Updates to the admin message do not provide a notification to the voters and subscribers, only when an admin message is added. We would like the ability to generate a notification whenever the message is updated |
What is the impact? |
Customers are not notified when the message is updated so they only see updates when they look at the idea directly without any prompting. |

Either a general notification sent whenever the admin message is updated or a toggle to turn on notifications for any update to the admin message. |

Good news – there is an easy solution for now. To send a notification for an updated admin response, delete the previous response and add a new one. We will consider improving this in the future, but it is not likely in the near term as there is a workaround.
