By blocking the specific note, I usually show my colleagues, that this version is ready for their review. Also, I want to protect the document during the time I don't work with it, but I want the comments to be allowed at the same time to collect the feedback. |

When I block the document from editing, comments should work "as usual". |
Thanks for sharing this idea! Just to check, are you using this Lock document option in the More options menu? One option today would be to use the Comments tab at the bottom of the document, as these are available when a document is locked. But we can see how this could also be helpful for inline comments, and will keep this in mind for a future enhancement.
