How should it work?

Support the closing of approval to-dos via automations. This would allow teams who have templated approvals in place to sign these off when certain conditions are met.

For example, if a feature requires no back-end changes, then approvals from back-end architecture are not necessary and can be marked as completed.

This information is not always known at the outset of the feature creation, and so in some cases the approvals would be generated, only to be found out later to not apply. In these cases it would be helpful if automation could be used to approve these automatically to reduce noise and bottlenecks.
