Add section numbers to requirements documents Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, etc. Which automatically populates/updates in the Table of Contents as well.

Who would benefit?

Product Managment & Engineering. To be able uniquely reference a Heading section number > Step number.

What impact would it make?

Clarity, efficiency when referencing/discussing/adding/editing/deleting requirements.

How should it work?


Just like Microsoft Word Heading section numbers - they are all unique and automated.

    You can do this today by clicking the button in text editor toolbar and selecting "Table of contents."

    This will add a section to the top of your content area that will be automatically populated as you had headers (1-6). Hope this helps!
