What impact would it make?

give users visibility into reports/list views they have created directly on their my work dashboard

How should it work?

Allow users the ability to select reports, roadmaps, or list views to show directly on their My work page. Alternative approach would be to allow them to create custom links to these reports for easy access.

Currently it's difficult to remember which type of report you created to know if you have to navigate through list, pivot, roadmap, etc to find the report you are looking for.
