Consistency between Roadmaps and Develop for record workflow

For the following Record Types (Epic, Feature, Requirement)

In roadmap we can set each record type with its own workflow. However in Develop you can only pick one workflow for all three record types.

We would like to have a consistent process of handling our record types between our buisness team and development team. Currently with this limitation it has lead to confusion on the process. Having this capability in develop is valuable for the same reason it was done in roadmap.

This is disappointing because a valuable part I saw in the combination of roadmaps and develop was having an Engineering Que where the development team can put in things they want to work on for efficiency. This helps us keep the business and engineering requirements separate. but they have to follow same process and not work around the system.
