Cursor jumps to beginning of line, when typing in textareas

Not sure, if this has begun only recently in general or is only a problem in the strategy views I have just used (Positioning template -> Description field of various components): Often, when I have typed in a textarea input today, the text cursor jumped back to the first position in this box after a few characters/seconds. As you can certainly understand, that's really annoying, because you cannot write a single line without creating non-sense.

It seems to co-incide with automatically saving the field in the background for the first time. I cannot reproduce this behaviour for a specific field, after it has occurred there once.
