Currently, if you share a list report to a dashboard it only shows the first page of your list report and you cannot expand the panels to see more data or click to a second page.
Are we able to alter this behaviour or add a notification to the dashboard explaining that not all data from a large list report is displayed
It is so much more convenient to provide ONE link to a dashboard that has all the information needed for a meeting or to make decisions from rather than providing 20 links to individual reports to see all of the data. If the dashboards and presentations were meant to just be for graphs/pie charts, then that should be the only thing it allows you to do versus providing a false sense of hope that you can actually have a report within a dashboard that provides all of the right data. People are thinking they are not as bad off in cleaning up data when it's not displaying everything.
I'm hitting this issue too. I have a dashboard for each stakeholder group that my aha workspace supports. They contain an overview of all ideas submitted, their status, their prioritized ideas and list views of all their open and closed items for reference. In the list views they are misrepresenting the data and making it look smaller by not indicating more pages or giving a warning or something. Ideally you'd allow users to advance to the next page or change the list view records visible (much like sharepoint sites let you do...default small but let us bump it up in increments including an all - but at least you know if someone picks 'all' they did it on purpose and not on accident by making us manually change the # of records visible in the list. IDK, right now it is silent on the problem and someone has to stumble on it 'whoops' to discover it.
The panels need to show all of the data extracted from a report. Having to open a report from the dashboard defeats the purpose of creating the view.
The dashboard needs to show ALL relevant data in a panel. If there are 80 lines in a report and only the first 50 are visible, stakeholders making decisions based on that data are doing so with a little over half the available data.
Only being able to share 50 items in a list in a dashboard rensers my usecase for lists in a dashboard useless
I can't live without this. I've tried rejiggering list reports into pivot tables, and I've had it happen several times that it completely fails and I get the "create a pivot table" screen starting screen. The instant a list gets longer than 50 records, I will have to redo every panel, and that is not always possible given that the pivot table functionality doesn't always work.
