Retain Integration with Rally when moving a Parent Feature from one workspace to another Merged

Currently, when a Parent is integrated with Rally and is moved from one workspace to another, the integration is broken. Parent Features are moved often in our organization, in particular when teams/products are restructured which results great deal of overhead in having to re-integrate these Parent Features (somethings hundreds of them). Can we figure our a way to maintain the integration after moving the Parent Feature.
