The ability to show dependencies in a custom roadmap helps us understand our delivery risks and what we must do to resolve challenges in our delivery plan.
We'd love issues with dependencies to be more obvious while reviewing the roadmap, such as with a warning or error icon next to the record to draw our attention into the linked record hover over option. This will help us ensure we do not miss any critical information which could impact of delivery plans.
Agree with all of the previous comments. Surfacing dependencies is critical when tracking delivery and the current mechanisms in Aha are clunky to use. Releases are a good example when there is a reliance across workspaces on multiple releases to final customer value.
This is something that we are also noticing. Since we will be using different workspaces, it is important to show the state when an item is dependent on another, especially when the dependency is cross workspace, as the only way to know if there is a dependency is when you have both workspaces visible.
It's critical, to make dependencies as a clear as possible by making them more visible from a visual (UX/UI) perspective will only help us in achieving that. What we want it to be as 'in your face' by making it very clear that in roadmaps that it is nearly shouting at the user when they review their roadmaps.
In addition, we would love functionality added when a dependency has crossed a dependency threshold or creates an error, to have some automation to alert an owner.
