Custom Field + Descriptor

When creating a custom field, we (1) select the Field Type and then (2) Name it.

However there is no 'entry field' to store a "Field Descriptor" that would display on the Ideas Portal 'Ideas Entry Form' - instead of the name.

So the workaround is, to put the Descriptor in the Field Name - which is clunky at best.

    Thank you for your idea. The custom field names that are displayed in portals can be customized per ideas portal in portal settings.

    To do this, go to portal settings > Terminology > Custom fields. This article describes how to do this in more detail.
