Ability to set Feature Type when promoting an Idea

When I promote an Idea to a Feature, I would like to automatically set the Feature TYPE field based on information in the Idea record. The Idea CATEGORIES field is similar to the Feature TYPE, but multiple values can be selected for the CATEGORIES field and the Feature TYPE can only have a single value. This is important because we use the Templates in Status and Workflows to populate the Description field based on Feature TYPE when a Feature is created.

Possible options for this request could be:

1. Add a system TYPE field to the Idea record, similar to the Feature TYPE field. If the Idea TYPE and Feature TYPE fields have identical select options, the Feature TYPE should automatically be set to the value of the Idea TYPE.

2. Add a config setting to the Idea CATEGORIES allowing it to be a single-value field and link to the Feature TYPE when promoting (assumes the Idea CATEGORIES and Feature TYPE have identical select options)

3. Allow a custom Predefined Choice field in the Idea record to link to the Feature TYPE when promoting (assumes the Idea custom field and Feature TYPE have identical select options)
