New charts sorting and ordering Merged

The new charts are much worse than the old ones. I see very little positives vs the old method, you have tried to make something "easier to use" by taking away lots of features and nicer to look at - charts don't need this.

  1. the order makes no sense! i have things in a logical workflow just stacked randomly (maybe alphabetical order?)

  2. The text never fits on the graphs

Tbh i have stood by Aha for a number of years but this is not helping. Don't make the update until you have fully tested how people use charts.

Simple example:

Priority pie chart before and after - why is it not in order - this is now impossible to make sense of?

I'm trying to highlight what product categories get the most feedback. To do this, I created a chart report showing the number of ideas assigned to me, grouped by category. The chart is a stacked bar chart.

The problem is that the chart sorts the results alphabetically by category name. This makes it difficult for my audience (product leaders) to immediately tell which categories get the most feedback, since the #2 most requested category is alphabetically near the bottom of the list.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. The sorting issue sounds like you may have encountered a bug. We have reached out to engineering to investigate. We are actively working on improving the new charts, which will address the font and label issues you shared. We have linked your idea to that feature so you will get notified when those updates are made in the new charts.

We anticipated some areas where we might need to tweak the new charts after launch. This is why we built in an easy way to go back to classic charts if something you needed was missing. Please let us know if you run into anything else.
