When viewing the default tags field it limits the results to the first 25 in the list and stops scrolling. The workaround is to type ahead and search for the tag you need when it does not show in the list. The workaround isn't exactly obvious.
If I want to browse all the available tags, I have to jump over to the Account area and look at the list there.
Being able to see the available tags from the menu where I select them seems an important requirement to me.
Additional pain points associated with this are from those of us who do not have visibility to the list of tags within the account menu due to permissions. Our product management team is working on an initiative currently to clean up tags which I am unable to lead efforts on due to these permissions so visibility somewhere would be hugely helpful.
See comment posted in A-I-8473 where I detail the below as well:
Similar to the original requestor here, a lack of visibility to the comprehensive list of tags (either via a report or within the interface dropdown) is preventing us from coming to a consensus on what tag naming conventions and standards we are going to set moving forward.
This is disrupting our ability to tag ideas and features consistently which affects how we report on ideas both internally and to our customers. For example a two word tag may have a multitude of variations that the system treats as unique tags i.e. "Blue ridge", "Blue Ridge", "BLUE RIDGE", "BLUERIDGE", "blueridge", "blue ridge"
If not visibility to a list of the tags somehow, another resolution would be the system recognizing a similar tag and either preventing creation of new similar tags or when a user searches for a tag then similar ones are presented i.e. if they search for "blue ridge" then "BLUE RIDGE" and other variations are also presented.
