Automate or pre-schedule capturing of snapshots of presentation slides
It would be great if we could automate the timing of the snapshot. As of right now, I preload a bunch of slides with the report we are using for time-tracking and take snapshots at weekly intervals. Pre-loading/snapshotting isn't a time sink per say but it would be great to somehow automate when these reports are added to the presentation and allow the system to run it. I see a lot of potential with building out the snapshot functionality to be a reliable way of looking back at point-in-time data.
This sounds similar to the issue I am having as well.
I have a presentation that we use for a weekly meeting. It has many dashboards that are set to Live Update, which is what I normally need for the web link. However, I also need a weekly snapshot version. I know how to get that link no problem. The "issue" is that to get the snapshot version, I first have to manually update each dashboard to be 'Manual Snapshot' frequency, update the snapshot for the week, then produce that weblink. Which is then followed by returning each dashboard to live update and refreshing the persistent weblink.
My question is, is there a way to make the static snapshot of a weblink and all the dashboards/reports in a simpler manner. Basically a PDF view action for a weblink.
