Search for records on the workflow board

Hi Team, is there a way to search the Team Board like you can in the roadmaps workspace, I see the search feature in the sidebar for backlog but not on the team workspace.

Allow approval gates for flexible workflows

We don't always use 'in design' status, so want to be able to skip this, but, if we make our workflow flexible, we can't require an approval gate to 'ship' a record
