Comments / Notifications

All other areas of the product have ToDo's and Comments on each record, but not Goals. We are using the Goals to track executive meetings and decisions so we need to comment and add tasks to each goal individually.

When an Admin user turns on email notifications for the Ideas portal, we would like the option to default disable/turn off email notifications for existing portal users. This takes an Opt-In approach, which is compliant with GDPR Privacy Regulations.

While it is possible to read comments via the API, and possible to create a new comment via the API, it is not currently possible to edit those comments once created.

If a URL is pasted into a comment and posted, the URL text is not automatically turned into a link like in most comment engines, which is inconsistent with the behaviour of the idea body.
